Currently I am employed as the Disaster Management Coordinator for the Canadian Red Cross in Southeastern, ON. A Masters of Arts in Disaster and Emergency Management candidate with an anticipated graduation date in 2012, from Royal Roads University, Victoria BC. A member of the Ontario Association of Emergency Managers (OAEM), and the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), my background and interests include: volunteers in emergencies, responder stress, training & development, emergency response & recovery and an all hazards holistic approach to emergency management.
