Recruiting volunteers for the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Management Team in Muskoka-West Parry Sound area. Interested?
We are looking for residents of the communities within the Muskoka and Parry Sound area , who wish to offer their time during incidents of emergencies e.g. house fires, floods, personal tragedies. The CRC DM team will train you to provide the individual's and family's essential needs such as food, clothing, lodging, family reunification for the first 72 hours.

Barry, can you tell me a little about the qualifications of the individuals you are looking to join the team and the time commitment that will be required.
This sounds like an excellent initiative and I wish you well with developing the team. Developing a team like this helps build a sense of community and provides an excellent opportunity to meet folks in ones community.
