We invite you and your colleagues to attend this ground breaking conference, and benefit from the experience of experts in your industry on innovation, interoperability, first responder safety and information sharing. There is no greater knowledge base that exists than that within your respective emergency service management teams.
We want to share with you what we have learned through our work, what is new in the emergency service management field, and let you know about upcoming learning opportunities that will bring together policing, fire, emergency medical services, industry, and academic leaders to engage for the common purpose of preparing our communities to respond effectively to any emergency.
Delegates will be provided the opportunity to collaborate with other first responders, emergency managers, non-government organizations, military, government officials, and private industry representatives. The discussions will target the multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional emergency service management issues many services are facing, and create potential solutions to improve public safety through operational effectiveness.
We want to draw on your experiences and your expertise to build integrated emergency service management strategies, policies, processes and practices that can be adapted and applied across Canada to reduce duplication of effort, optimize research data, promote new knowledge, improve resource allocation, improve interoperability, and improve first responder safety. We hope to see you and your emergency services management team members at this important event.

I will be attending this conference as I beleive it will be very beneficial to see and hear the views and opportunites the leaders of the Emergency Services Associations on the subjects provided (most specifically, interoperability). The ultimate goal is responder safety but if from that comes the residual benefits of higher resiliency and quicker recovery, everyone will benefit.
I look forward to the event.

This event was very beneficial and I hope that collaberation between these 3 groups as well as Emergency Managers continues and this event becomes an annual endeavour.
It was refreshing to see the amount of discussion and networking which was allowed to occur during this event.
Hats off to the organizers and I look forward to signing up again next year!
