Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness
Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness
For many years the Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness (CCEP) has contributed to helping Canadians improve their emergency management programs through advocacy, research, projects and sponsoring the World Conference on Disaster Management. CCEP unfortunately has decided to cease operations and in doing so is creating a legacy fund for ongoing support for emergency management.
A step in the process is to dispose of office equipment and other assets to contribute to this fund. Items will be auctioned off by posting them in a blog article which can be accessed here.
Further developments for winding down CCEP will be posted in the PTSC-Online Emergency Management blog.
CCEP has contributed the Compass Survey - Public Views and Attitudes to Emergency Preparedness to the PTSC-Online wiki.
