Should Provincial OH&S Regs Require Industrial Fire Brigades to Comply with NFPA 600?

I am looking for any fedback from municipal and industrial fire brigade members on whether provincial occupational health and safety regulations should require inductrial fire brigades to comply with NFPA 600? NFPA 600 would require that a fire risk assessment be perfomed and that the brigades be adequatelt resources and trained to address these risks. It would also require personnel to meet the training standards found in NFPA 1081. NOTE: Under nuclear regs a fire risk assessment is required and if a fire brigade is required then it must comply with NFPA 600.

Attached is a recent presentation dleivered to CAER members in Sarnia.
