Translation Guide

This guide is an aid for personnel who may be working in either a Reception or Evacuation Centre with evacuees whose first language is not English.  This is not intended to be a comprehensive translation tool or replace the role of a formal interpreter however in the absence of an interpreter this guide will give personnel the ability to identify the urgent needs of an evacuee.
