WHO Media Field Guide

The World Health Organization (WHO) Media Field Guide, has many excellent templates and planning processes that may be adapted for use in your community. Although the guide is geared towards "health emergencies", communicating with the public regardless of the emergency has the same process.  You will find that one of the topics "Seven Steps to Effective Media Communication During Public Health Emergencies" is easily adapted to any emergency in your community.
