CBRNE Collaborative

 CBRNE Introduction

The CBRNE Collaborative is a community of experts, practitioners, volunteers, and students who are participating in an exciting new project that will educate and inform through Chemical, Biological, Radiological-Nuclear and Explosive/Environment (CBRNE) training for health, psychosocial and communication (HPC) professionals.

Powered by users from Canada and abroad, the CBRNE Collaborative will utilize social media and technology as the fundamental building blocks of its online community. The chief goal of this federally funded project is the creation of a standardized training program based on the consensus of community members. The result: an online space where students, professionals and the public can interact and learn about CBRNE medical and casualty management, build public confidence, and explore psychosocial factors to enhance emergency response.

The purpose of this partnership is to raise awareness of and promote the use of our respective efforts to network professionals for the purpose of developing more effective emergency management and related programs. As PTSC-Online and the CBRNE Collaborative communties grow and develop, we will evaluate opportunities to combine our efforts to more effectively network our communities and collaborate to more effectively use professional and social media networks.
